Frequently Asked Questions

Over the past year we have be redesigning out product labels.  The Stainless Steel Cleaning Polish and Conditioner is now called Stainless Steel Polish.  It is the same product and formulation (with mineral oil) we have just redesigned the label.

Option 1: Leave the appliance as it is and over time oxidation will most likely return the steel to its original color.

Option 2: If you are unhappy with the immediate appearance of the appliance you can apply a stainless steel cleaning product that contains mineral oil, such as Cerama Bryte Stainless Steel Polish.  The mineral oil will help even out the stainless steel and give a uniform appearance.

Engineered quartz countertops are made of 93% ground quartz stone and 3% binders/colorants.

Stone countertops are porous. To prevent liquids and soils from seeping into the stone and causing difficult stains or etching, these countertops are sealed with special polymers. All impregnating slate, marble, stone, granite sealers are “food safe”. All such sealers are made for application to stone and granite countertops, which are designed for food prep.

It is important to avoid any products or actions that could scratch the stovetop surface. Dish towels or sponges used prior to wiping down a glass-ceramic stovetop may have particles that could cause a scratch. Steel wool and other abrasives will also scratch the stovetop surface.

Using products specifically designed for window cleaning may leave behind an iridescent film on the stovetop.

This type of stain may occur from using copper or aluminum bottom pans at high heat. On a cool stovetop, squirt a nickel-sized drop of Cerama Bryte Cooktop Cleaner on each burner. Rub briskly with a Cerama Bryte Cleaning Pad or with a dry paper towel. Follow with another dry paper towel to buff off the excess and to remove streaks. It is important to note, however, that the staining from copper or aluminum bottom will most likely require several cleanings to completely remove the stain.
